Description
This photograph captures sunrise at Minehead Beach on the Somerset coast. A low, glowing horizon cuts beneath dense, textured cloud. The sky shifts from deep blue and grey into warm orange and pink light. The sea moves in shallow, rhythmic waves, spreading across wet stones that reflect the changing sky. In the distance, Minehead and the recognisable Butlins skyline appear as dark shapes against the rising light. The image balances scale and intimacy, with foreground detail in the beach and expansive drama in the sky. It speaks of transition, from night to day, from stillness to movement.
